Founded in 1991 by restaurateur David Moore, Pied a Terre in Fitzrovia is one of London's truly great restaurants and has held its Michelin star for over 35 years. Martin Moore have an ongoing relationship with Pied a Terre, which has seen the team cooking in many of their showrooms. Working in these spaces resulted in David commissioning Martin Moore to design a luxurious, home-from-home kitchen upstairs at his restaurant where guests could enjoy cookery masterclasses, private dining and a more intimate Chef's Table than anywhere else in London. This was a celebration for two weeks at a private resort for ten of their guests, along with each guest's family, as an appreciation for those who stood by them during the storms in their life.

The Music - reminiscent of the era the couple grew up in was captured on a CD. Champagne and custom made chocolates added to the special touch. A Private Chef at the resort created and crafted an extraordinary culinary spread for the guests.

Organised Interiors offers concierge-level home move management. With our Signature Move, we plan every room, source the storage and oversee the removals team before moving day. While our clients enjoy a mini-break, we unpack everything and organise each space in depth: wardrobes curated by category, kitchens arranged around how you truly live, everything labelled and beautifully in its place. Beds are made, and the fridge is stocked.

Then comes our favourite moment: the return. A guided tour of a home that feels calm, considered and ready to enjoy from day one.

When our clients first approached us, they wanted to extend and remodel their existing home in Radlett. After exploring its potential, we gave them unexpected advice: rather than compromise, find another property that could become the home they really wanted.

Six months later they returned, having bought a nearby property with planning permission for a replacement house. Working with that opportunity, we created an entirely new circa 7,500 square foot family home, drawing on Georgian proportions for the front facade and Arts and Crafts craftsmanship while creating something distinctly contemporary.

The completed house is centred around a dramatic three-storey entrance hall and includes generous living spaces, landscaped gardens, an 18-metre swimming pool and pavilion. For us, its story is about more than architecture: sometimes the most important part of design is recognising a better possibility.

I recently ran 100 miles around the mountains of the Alps, in one go.

41 hours non-stop (with 10 minutes sleep). I also did 5 days (6 marathons) in the desert in Jordan at 40 degrees heat.

A lot of people ask “why?”

The short answer is: challenge – pride – perspective.

I learnt more about myself, and about being a running a business during this period that any other period of my life.

Dan Grimshaw trained as a designer, and with a degree in Three-Dimensional Design, he began his career designing and making furniture, where preparation, material and fit are everything.

He went on to spend 20 years leading the creation of exceptional London homes, several featured in House & Garden, Homes & Gardens and The Telegraph Magazine, and serves on the juries of two international design awards.

Along the way he saw too many projects falter because of what happened at the very start.

Through Beam Consult, Dan now works as a Project Creator. From the first conversation he sits beside the owner as an independent guide, translating their ambitions for the architects, designers and specialists he brings together to suit the property, the brief and the people. Every decision is in place before building begins.
