Speed is a consistent theme in most of the books published by Porter Press International.

When Jo Bamford wanted a fitting present for his father, Lord Bamford’s 80th birthday, he commissioned PP to create a beautiful book on the three Ferraris the JCB Chairman had designed. In the States, a well-known auctioneer went up to a classic car collector and said, ‘I’ve found you a Ferrari 250 GTO’. ‘But which one?’ responded the collector. The auctioneer handed over a Porter Press book on the car. It was bought for $80m. More recently, the highest price ever achieved for an American car was bid for a car also in the same Porter Press Great Cars series. Very recently, an iconic British food brand has chosen Porter Press to create a heritage book for the company.

Apart from bespoke commissions for individuals and companies, Porter Press has published over 120 top quality, highly-respected motoring and motorsport books in the last 21 years.
