Blue Forest
The New Luxury of Escaping into the Trees
There is something wonderfully escapist about a treehouse – but today’s treehouses can be a world away from the makeshift hideaways of childhood.
Blue Forest designs and builds extraordinary bespoke treehouses and timber structures, creating everything from private family retreats and secluded guest accommodation to luxurious woodland escapes, wellness spaces and safari lodges.
Every project begins with its setting. Rather than imposing a building upon the landscape, the aim is to create something that feels as though it belongs there – weaving architecture through existing trees and responding to the views, contours and character of the surroundings.
Perhaps that is part of their enduring appeal. In an increasingly connected world, there is a particular luxury in climbing into the trees, closing the door and escaping somewhere completely unexpected.
